How often is the comic updated?
- New pages come out on Mondays and Thursdays, Lizard willing.
Who's that main character?
- Read the intro, it explains a fair bit. Ryan is a young man in his mid-20's. He works full time, as well as going to university for classes. He doesn't have many social connections, except for his one childhood friend, Mariana. He was in an accident a few months back, and now some very strange things are going on... Perhaps even more strange than he initially understands.
So, what's Ira?
- Ira is a town in the midwest. Well, in North America. Not Mexico.
It's a young town, that pretty much came up along with the university, it's mostly residential, to make up for the overwhelming student population. It borders on Lake Ira, which is how the city got its name.
So, what the hell is going on?
- Read the story, and all will be somewhat explained in time. No more than that will be given away as is. A lot of it will never be explained. I hope that people will come up with their own explanations for a lot of it. Use your imaginations.
This story seems kind of ripped off of Silent Hill.
- I am a huge Silent Hill fan, and I\'m doing the story as something of a tribute. I took some of the concepts that are dealt with in the games, and I tried to attribute some of my own ideas to them. What exactly I mean will hopefully become clear as the comic goes on.
Who's behind this comic?
- Angie is an artist/student who, contrary to the picture, demanded a comic to be written. Pieter (that's me) is a student who had written a storyline for what was intended to be a game but was quickly adapted to a comic. After many months of planning, revision and writing, we've finally managed to launch the site. We met many years ago, and are related in a complicated way. The third person that helps run this site is Pat, who helped design, run, and generally make everything work properly. All thanks go to him.

I have more questions.
- You can reach the man behind the curtain at Pieter(at)welcometoira.com. Please send any questions you may have to this address, because although this story is intended to be somewhat complicated, I want to make it as easy to follow as possible. Some things, however, will not be revealed, see earlier for reasons.
